This textbook was helpful with the historical context; of the time period Andy Warhol was most famous. For national history day students need to have historical context for their project. It can’t just be biographical information. The book talked about counter cultural ideas of the 1960’s and how they appeared in magazines, T.V and news forms of expression in art, which is what Andy Warhol, did. That is one way the textbook helped. It talked about the protest at Berkeley college and Woodstock. This is all historical context.
